Wednesday Humpday: Rum-Infused Liquid Butterscotch & Peppermint Papa

Turn your parties into a cocktail buffet with these rum-infused drinks


Liquid Butterscotch

Makes 1 serving

3 Tbsps Don Papa Rum

1 ½ Tbsps Butter syrup

2 Tbsps Maple syrup

2 Tbsps Orange juice

*Dash of cinnamon powder

1 cup Ice cubes

*Sprig of mint, to garnish

  1. Mix all the ingredients together in a shaker then shake until the surface of shaker sweats from the cold. Strain and serve in a cocktail glass. Add a sprig of mint, to garnish.


Makes about 1 cup

½ cup Butter

½ cup Brown sugar

½ cup Low-fat milk

¼ cup Heavy cream

½ Tbsp Corn syrup

½ tsp Baking soda

1 Tbsp Vanilla extract

Peppermint Papa

Makes 1 serving

1 pc Tablea chocolate

¾ cup Hot water

3 Tbsps Don Papa Rum

2 Tbsps Coffee liqueur

½ Tbsp Crème de menthe (you may substitute with peppermint extract)

*Whipped Cream

*Sprinkles, for garnish

*Chocolate chips, for garnish

  1. Dissolve tablea in hot water. Set aside to cool completely then store in the refrigerator while preparing the rest of the ingredients.
  2. In a glass, combine the Don Papa Rum, coffee liqueur, and crème de menthe. Stir in the dissolved tablea into the mixture.
  3. Top cocktail with whipped cream and garnish with sprinkles or chocolate chips, if desired. Serve immediately.
