This dish may look well put together but trust us, it only has a few ingredients and three easy steps. Together, mushrooms and parsley have health benefits, just enough to fulfill your appetite for wellness. You may serve it on top of toasted baguette slices or if you prefer, even on top of rice!


Mushroom and Parsley Appetizer

Makes 5-6 servings


½ kilo Fresh mushrooms like button, oyster, shiitake, or a combination of these

100g Fresh parsley leaves, chopped

  • Extra virgin olive oil

2 cloves Garlic, minced

  • Salt and pepper


  1. Slice the mushrooms and chop the parsley. Set aside.
  2. In a sauté pan, heat olive oil and sauté garlic. Add the mushrooms and sauté. Cover the pan.
  3. After 3-4 minutes, add the parsley then season with salt and pepper. Turn off heat. Serve with warm pita bread or toasted French baguette slices.
