Top Dog: Baked Cheesy Corndogs Recipe

Face it: we’re more than used with the long, cylindrical hotdogs coated with fried batter that we know as corndogs. But this time, we’re mixing things up and giving ‘em a makeover. Grab your cup of these portable baked treats, and you’ll still have that familiar taste and juiciness you love in corndogs. We also added some gooey cheese making these treats more irresistible.


Baked Cheesy Corndogs
Makes 14 muffins


1 recipe Pancake mix

½ cup Grated cheddar cheese

3-4 Jumbo beef franks, cut into 4 pieces (1.5” long)


  1. Prepare pancake mix according to package directions. Mix cheese into the batter and pour into greased muffin tins.
  2. Position cut beef franks in the center of the well. Bake in a preheated 375˚F oven for 15-20 minutes. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard.
