Toast of the Town: Pineapple Cheese Pimiento Toasts Recipe

You won’t just please your eyes with this comforting sight of yellow. Even your tummy will be satisfied with this tasty combination of pineapple and cheese topped with red sweet pepper. It’s far more different than your usual toast, but it’s a far better alternative for your morning meal.


Pineapple Cheese Pimiento Toasts
Makes 12-14 servings


1 small box Cheddar cheese, grated

1 small box Quickmelt cheese, grated

½ cup Butter

1 small can Pimiento, drained and chopped

¼ cup Mayonnaise

¼ cup Condensed milk

1 small can Crushed pineapples, drained

  • Salt and ground white pepper, to season

1 French baguette, sliced into thin rounds


  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine cheeses, butter, pimiento, mayonnaise, condensed milk, and crushed pineapples. Season with salt and ground white pepper.
  2. Mix thoroughly until mixture is smooth. Store in an airtight jar and refrigerate until ready to use.
  3. Spread cheese pimiento generously on bread slices. Arrange bread on a baking tray and bake in an oven toaster for 6-8 minutes or until cheese melts. Serve immediately.
