If you ever find yourself getting tired of brownies, blondies are an amazing substitute! Just like brownies, these golden treats are fudgy and gooey, both sweet and sinful at the same time! But unlike the chocolatey goodness called brownies, the quick and easy blondies have no dominant chocolate flavor, turning it into a favorite into which you can throw in many flavors.

Quicky and Easy Blondies


½ cup Butter, melted

1 cup Tightly packed brown sugar

1 Egg, lightly beaten

1 tsp Vanilla

½ tsp Baking powder

⅛ tsp Baking soda

  • Pinch of salt

1 cup All-purpose flour

1 cup Chocolate chips, divided


  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease and line an 8×8 inch pan with foil and set aside.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the melted butter and sugar. Add the egg and vanilla extract and whisk. Add the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and ½ cup of the chocolate chips and mix until well-incorporated. Transfer into the prepared pan and top with the remaining chocolate chips.
  3. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
