A guilt-free way to enjoy appetizers

2 Tbsps Olive oil

1 tsp Italian seasoning

½ tsp Garlic powder

¼ tsp Onion powder

Pinch of salt

3 pcs Whole-wheat pita bread, sliced into triangles


  1. In a bowl, combine olive oil, Italian seasoning, garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix well.
  2. Using a pastry brush, spread the mixture evenly on both sides of the pita bread.
  3. Arrange the pita bread on a lightly greased baking tray and bake in the oven at 350°F for about 15 minutes until crispy.



1 (450g) can Chickpeas, drained, liquid reserved

¼ cup Liquid from the canned chickpeas

2 Tbsps Olive oil

3 Tbsps Lemon juice

2 cloves Garlic, minced

1 ½ Tbsps Tahini

½ tsp Salt

Pinch of paprika


Process all the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Transfer to a serving bowl and sprinkle with paprika. Serve with pita chips.
