Your grilled chicken wings are about to get even better! Move over buffalo wings, this grilled chicken wing dish paired with a creamy Coconut-Cilantro sauce will be everyone’s new favorite recipe. To think that cilantro may not be for everyone, we think that this recipe will definitely change their minds! Make sure to use McCormick iodized salt and ground black pepper to season your wings for that absolutely flavorful taste. Partner it with freshly-steamed pandan rice or with a cold potato salad to complete the refreshingly festive flavors.

Makes 8 servings

3 Tbsps Olive oil
1 tsp McCormick Cumin Ground
1 Tbsp Chopped cilantro roots
1 Tbsp Brown sugar
¾ tsp McCormick Iodized Salt
¼ tsp McCormick Black Pepper Ground
1 kilo Chicken wings

  1. Combine the olive oil, McCormick Cumin Ground, cilantro roots, brown sugar, McCormick Iodized Salt, and McCormick Black Pepper Ground in a mixing bowl and stir.
  2. Toss chicken wings in the bowl then mix to coat with the spices. Cover bowl with cling wrap then leave chicken to marinate in the refrigerator for at least an hour.
  3. Cook wings over a hot charcoal grill, about 6-8 minutes per side.

1 cup Chopped cilantro leaves
2 cloves Garlic, chopped
1 Green finger chili, deseeded and chopped
3 Tbsps Chopped pistachio nuts or cashew nuts
¼ cup Coconut cream
2 Tbsps Lime juice
½ tsp McCormick Iodized Salt
Pinch of white sugar

  1. In a food processor, combine cilantro, garlic, green finger chili, and nuts. Add coconut cream and lime juice. Season with McCormick Iodized Salt and sugar. Purée until smooth.
  2. Pour into a microwaveable bowl and heat in the microwave for a few seconds to soften the cream. Spoon coconut-cilantro pesto over just-grilled chicken wings.
