This Mixed Seafood Boil will elevate your Sunday lunch routine

Calling all seafood lovers, this mega feast is for you!  Look for your biggest pot and serve up a sumptuous seafood boodle with your family. Sit down and get your hands dirty as you indulge on this marvelous meal composed of your favoritesshrimps, crabs, mussels, and clams. Don’t forget the melted butter and lemon wedges to add an extra dimension to each bite.



Makes 6-8 servings


Olive oil, for sautéing

1  White onion, sliced

8 cloves Garlic, minced

1 tsp Red chili flakes

1 ½ cups Good quality white wine

3 ears Sweet corn, cut into 3

½ cup Butter

2-3 cups Chicken broth

10 Marble potatoes

3 Kielbasa sausages or any spicy sausage, sliced

Bunch of dill and parsley



1-2 Whole crabs, halved

½ kilo Fresh shrimps,

1 kilo Clams, rinsed thoroughly

1 kilo Mussels, rinsed thoroughly

Salt and ground black pepper, to season

Lemon wedges

  1. In a large stock pot sauté onion in olive oil in low-medium heat until soft and fragrant. Add garlic and red chili flakes.
  2. Pour the white wine then add the marble potatoes then bring up heat to a boil. Lower heat and allow liquid to reduce.
  3. Add the sweet corn, butter, and chicken stock. Bring heat up again then cover and simmer until potatoes are cooked through. Add the sliced sausages.
  4. Toss in the crabs, dill, and parsley. Adjust the taste with salt and pepper then let it simmer for 10-15 minutes. Add in the shrimps, clams, and mussels and let everything cook for another two minutes.
  5. Transfer the cooked seafood using a slotted serving spoon to a large platter and pour the hot broth into a small bowl. Serve with lemon wedges.
