Makes 1-2 servings

1 ½ Tbsps Flour

1 ½ Tbsps Icing sugar

1 ½ Tbsps Walnuts, finely chopped

1 ½ Tbsps Butter

½ Washington Red Apple

½ Green Apple

6-8 pcs walnuts, halved

2 tsps Raisins

2 Tbsps Sugar

½ tsp Ground cinnamon

½ Orange

1 scoop Vanilla ice cream

  1. First, prepare the crumble. In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, icing sugar, chopped walnuts, and butter. Mix them together until butter is well-distributed. The mixture should be lumpy.
  2. Spread the small bits evenly on a cookie sheet or small tray and bake in a preheated 300°F oven for about 5-8 minutes or until the crumble turns golden brown. Remove from the oven and allow to cool down.
  3. Next, prepare the spiced apples. Cut all the apples into big chunks or slices.
  4. In a bowl, combine apples, walnuts, and raisins. Toss in sugar and cinnamon.
  5. Zest the orange and add to the mixture. Squeeze orange juice over the mixed fruits.
  6. Line a baking tray with baking paper and spread fruit mixture evenly. Roast fruits in a preheated 400°F oven for 12-15 minutes. Fruits should look soft and caramelized, but not mushy. Remove from the oven and allow to cool for a few minutes.
  7. To assemble, scoop warm roasted apples in a serving bowl or glass. Top with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and garnish generously with the crumble. Serve immediately.
