Cha Han
Got any leftovers sitting around in your fridge that need to be used up? Cha han’s got your back. You can put pretty much anything in this fried rice recipe and it’ll still taste great.
  • 2 tbsps butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup ground pork (300g)
  • ¼ cup red bell pepper, finely diced
  • ¼ cup green pepper, finely diced
  • 3-4 cups rice
  • 2 eggs, beaten
  • 3 tbsps soy sauce
  • 1 tsp seasame oil
  • Salt and white pepper to taste
  1. Heat oil and butter and lightly sauté the garlic.
  2. Add ground pork and cook on high heat for about 5 minutes until browned, stirring occasionally.
  3. Add peppers and cook for 2 minutes.
  4. Mix in the cooked rice.
  5. Pour in soy sauce and sesame oil and mix well. Add salt and white pepper to taste.
  6. Make a well in the center and pour in the beaten eggs. Let cook until eggs are set and combine thoroughly.
