Get your kids to finally eat their veggies with this kid-friendly macaroni salad!

Tuna Macaroni Salad


1 (7 oz) package elbow macaroni

½ cup frozen green peas, thawed

1 (9 oz) can tuna, drained

1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing

1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (optional)

¼ cup sweet pickle relish (optional)

2 teaspoons lemon juice

¾ teaspoon salt

¼ teaspoon pepper

½ cup Chopped celery stalks 

¼ cup Chopped onions 

2 Croissant rolls

  1. Cook macaroni al dente, adding peas for last four minutes of cooking; rinse with cold water and drain.
  2. In large bowl,  add the macaroni and peas, tuna, mayonnaise, Cheddar cheese, sweet pick relish, lemon juice. Cover and refrigerate at least an hour to blend flavors.
  3. Slice croissant and toast lightly. Line bread with lettuce and stuff with Caesar egg filling.
