Healing Turmeric Golden Milk

Makes 2 servings

2 cups Soy milk or coconut milk

1 tsp Ground turmeric

1 tsp Ground ginger

1 Cinnamon stick or 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon

*Pinch of ground black pepper

2 tsps Raw honey or coconut nectar

  1. In a medium saucepan bring the soy milk to a gentle boil. Whisk in the ground turmeric, ground ginger, cinnamon stick, and black pepper into the milk. Turn down the heat and let the milk mixture simmer for five minutes.
  2. Turn off the heat and stir in the honey. Remove the cinnamon stick from the saucepan and pour the milk mixture into a mug. Serve milk immediately.
