Here’s a mighty breakfast for your mighty morning!

For something as versatile as granola, it’s no surprise that you can create a variety of dishes with this healthy food. Usually, cereals are sweet, packed with artificial ingredients to make it so appealing to everyone. But granola cereal’s got it all different, packing a big fiber punch and health benefits that can jumpstart your day!

Granola Cereal
Makes 1 bowl


1 cup Walnuts

1 cup Hazelnuts

1 cup Pecan nuts

2 pcs Green apples (chopped)

2 cups Desiccated coconut

3 pcs Bananas

¼ cup Muscovado sugar or coconut sugar

1 Tbsp Cinnamon

1 Tbsp Nutmeg

  • Sea salt to taste


  1. Soak all the nuts in water overnight. Drain all the nuts then process in a food processor. In a big bowl, put all the nuts and add the green apple and desiccated coconut.
  2. Using a food processor, blend the banana until it turns into mush. While blending, add sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt. Once blended together, add this to the bowl of nuts.
  3. Set aside to marinate for 2 to 3 hours.
  4. Spread the mix on a dehydrator tray with space in between the pieces so air can pass through. Dehydrate for 90°C overnight or until crispy. Remove from the dehydrator and crumble into bite-size pieces.
  5. Serve with cereal and/or milk.
