Taste well-rounded Greek flavors in one bite

Makes 5-6 servings


½ kilo Ground pork or lamb

1 Tbsp Olive oil, plus more for frying

5 cloves Garlic, finely minced

1 Large onion, finely chopped

1 Egg

2 Tbsps Fresh orange juice

5 Tbsps Fresh mint

Salt and pepper, to season


  1. In a medium bowl, mix the ground lamb, olive oil, garlic, onions, egg, orange juice and mint. Season with salt and pepper.
  2. Form into balls and transfer to a baking sheet or serving platter.
  3. In a frying pan, heat olive oil over medium high heat. Brown the meatballs over medium high, turning to cook all sides, until cooked through about 8-10 minutes. Serve with tzatziki.
