Dried fruits right from your local farmer’s market!

Makes 8-10 servings


3 cups Quick-cooking rolled oats

1 cup Cashew nuts

½ cup Vegetable oil

½ cup Honey

⅓ cup Brown sugar

Canola oil, for greasing

½ cup Raisins

½ cup Dried mangoes, cut into small pieces

½ cup Dried pineapple, cut into small pieces

½ cup Dried jackfruit (langka), cut into small pieces


  1. Combine the oats and cashew nuts in a large bowl. Set aside.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the vegetable oil, honey, and brown sugar then stir until syrupy.
  3. Pour wet ingredients over the oats and cashew nuts then toss together until the honey mixture is evenly distributed.
  4. Spread mixture on a shallow baking pan greased with canola oil. Bake in a preheated 350 ̊F oven for 30 minutes or until golden brown.
  5. Scrape the granola from the baking pan and transfer to a large bowl to cool.
  6. When cooled, stir in the raisins and other dried fruits. Store in an airtight container.
