Homemade Peanut Butter Cups
Makes 8-10 pieces

2 cups Milk chocolate chips

2 Tbsps Butter

1 cup Peanut butter

¼ tsp Salt

¼ cup Crushed graham crackers

½ cup Confectioners’ sugar, sifted

  • Candy coated chocolates, for topping (optional)

  1. Line a muffin tin with paper cups. Set aside.
  2. Bring a small saucepan with water to a gentle boil. Combine chocolate chips and butter in a stainless bowl and place on top of the saucepan making sure that the water is not touching the bowl to prevent the chocolate from burning. Stir the chocolate chips and butter with a wooden spoon once in a while until melted through.
  3. Spoon half of the mixture into muffin cups until halfway up the liner, then refrigerate until firm. Keep remaining chocolate warm.
  4. In a small bowl, mix together the peanut butter, salt, graham crackers, and confectioners’ sugar.
  5. Divide the peanut butter mixture into the chilled chocolate cups, and then top each muffin cup with the remaining chocolate. Place candy-coated chocolates on top to add color and chill to harden until ready to serve.
