What? You can actually enjoy bibingka without having to wake up extra early for simbang gabi?

3 ½ cups Malagkit rice

¼ tsp Salt

1 ½ cups White sugar

1 cup Coconut cream

½ cup Coconut milk

1 cup Coco jam



  1. Wash and strain malagkit rice. Cook the glutinous rice in a rice cooker with a pinch of salt.
  2. In a separate big wok, boil coconut cream. Stir constantly until slightly thick and fragrant.
  3. Pour the sugar and stir until dissolved.
  4. Add coconut milk and let it boil while stirring constantly.
  5. Add cooked rice and mix continuously until it becomes sticky.
  6. Pour in baking pan lined with aluminum foil or banana leaves.
  7. Spread coco jam on top and bake in the oven for 10-15 minutes.
  8. Let cool and cut into squares.
