4 Fantastic Super Easy To Make Party Bites for the Kids and Kids at Heart

Admit it. You can’t resist children’s food especially when they’re so fun and flavorful. You even take pride in downing several servings of these bite-sized treats since they’re appetizing and easy to eat. We can’t blame you though—we love them too! Especially when they’re so easy to make and yes, you can have as many as you want! To celebrate the inner child in you, here are four awesome party food recipes for the kids and kids at heart. Perfect for the little ones, awesome bites for the big ones.



Makes 15-16 servings

2 cups milk
Juice of 2 calamansi
1 kilo chicken breast fillet
2 packets McCormick Season ‘n Fry Chicken Coating Mix, Crispy Seasoned
2/3 cup Cold water
2 cups Japanese breadcrumbs
1/2 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
3-4 cups Cooking oil

  1. Combine milk and juice of calamansi in a bowl. Let stand for ten minutes.
  2. Wash and drain chicken breasts. Cut meat into long strips. Marinate chicken in milk-calamansi mixture for 2-3 hours in the refrigerator.
  3. When ready to fry, dissolve 2 packets McCormick Season ‘n Fry in a bowl of 2/3 cups of cold water.
  4. Drain milk from chicken by using a strainer. Coat chicken strips into the seasoned batter. Set aside.
  5. In another bowl, combine breadcrumbs with Parmesan cheese and mix well.
  6. Take battered chicken pieces and roll in Parmesan-breadcrumb mixture. Keep breaded chicken in the refrigerator until ready to fry.
  7. Heat cooking oil in a saucepot over medium heat. Deep-fry chicken fingers until golden brown. Serve with catsup or ranch dressing.



Makes 6-8 servings

4-6 Chorizo de Bilbao, crumbled
2 Tbsps Olive oil
2 Tbsps Butter or margarine
4 cloves Garlic, finely minced
3 Tbsps Tomato paste
1 cup All-purpose cream
1 ½ cups Whole milk
¾ cup Processed cheese spread
1 ½ cups Grated quick melting cheese
Freshly-ground black pepper, to season
¼ tsp Spanish paprika
¼ tsp Chili powder
400g Elbow macaroni, cooked al dente

  1. Fry the crumbled chorizo in hot oil and butter until crisp. Set chorizo aside.
  2. In the same pan, sauté the garlic until light brown. Stir in the tomato paste until incorporated.
  3. Add the cream, milk, cheese spread, grated cheese, black pepper, paprika, and chili powder. Stir to combine and simmer until thickened. Adjust to taste accordingly.
  4. Add the cooked macaroni and mix to coat. Transfer to a serving platter and top with the cooked chorizo. Serve hot.



Makes 14 muffins

1 recipe pancake mix
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
3-4 jumbo beef franks, cut into 4 pieces (about1 ½-inch long)

  1. Prepare pancake mix according to package directions.
  2. Mix cheese into the batter and pour into greased muffin tins.
  3. Position cut beef franks in the center of the well.
  4. Bake in a preheated 375°F oven for 15 -20 minutes. Serve warm with ketchup and mustard on the side.



Makes 10 servings

10 cups Cooked popcorn
10-12 pcs Graham crackers, broken into ½-inch shards
2 cups Mini marshmallows, divided
1/4 cup + 2 Tbsps Unsalted butter
1/2 cup Milk chocolate chips

  1. Grease a large roasting pan. In the pan, toss together the popcorn, graham crackers, and marshmallows.
  2. In a saucepot over low heat, melt the butter with the marshmallows, stirring constantly. Remove from heat as soon as the marshmallows melt; be careful that the mixture doesn’t burn.
  3. Pour the butter-marshmallow mixture over the popcorn. Using a spatula, toss to coat evenly. Work fast because the mixture cools quickly.
  4. Once cool enough to handle (about a minute), with clean hands shape the popcorn into 1 cup size balls. Place on wax paper until ready to serve.
  5. Before serving, melt chocolate in a microwave in ten second intervals. Drizzle melted chocolate over the popcorn balls with a piping bag or the tines of a fork. Serve.
